The writing samples available above were completed in a 2020 media writing and storytelling course at the University of Oklahoma. This assignment required me to write a number of headlines, cutlines, and tweets all about a variety of different subjects. While there are different audiences for each writing subject, the primary audience for this assignment was my professor. Each of these writing samples have the primary function of informing people on numerous topics. Writing these different types of publications allowed me to understand a variety of different types of writing. With different types of writing comes different formats and ways of reaching different target audiences, making this assignment very. important to my future success.
